The center is temporarily closed while the park undergoes phase 2 of a major renovation, and is expected to reopen in July 2012. All programs and services have been relocated to other facilities during the construction.

The Derfelt Senior Center is located in Lorenzi Park, West Washington Avenue between Rancho Drive and Valley View Boulevard.
