Downtown Las Vegas Revitalization
Mayor Goodman is a champion of downtown revitalization, focusing her efforts on creating a downtown urban village filled with small businesses, boutiques, fine restaurants, bookstores and an art component where the public can have social dialogue and exchange ideas. Downtown Las Vegas is quickly becoming a place where people want to live, work and play.
Symphony Park
The city of Las Vegas is currently developing a 61-acre parcel located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas called Symphony Park, which is being master planned by the city and Newland Communities. The City Council has authorized $40 million in funding for the first phase of infrastructure in Symphony Park. The project neighbors some impressive development including the World Market Center and the environmentally-friendly Molasky Corporate Center

Downtown Redevelopment
The city of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency
, or RDA, promotes and encourages the redevelopment of the downtown urban core and surrounding older commercial districts.
Hundreds of projects are planned or under construction in the downtown redevelopment area.
