Intern Program

The mayor’s office is currently recruiting for qualified students to fill two voluntary intern positions. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college/university and able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Intern schedules are flexible around school schedules. Upon successful completion of the internship, the student will receive a letter of recommendation from Mayor Goodman.

Scope of work:
• Assist with incoming phone calls.
• Assist with mayoral correspondence including constituent letters and thank you notes.
• Assist with certificates and proclamations.
• Responsible for newspaper archives.
• Assist with filing.
• Will have opportunities to sit in on meetings and attend events.
