Unified Development Code
In 2008 the Department of Planning embarked on a major endeavor to merge Title 18 and 19 together and to update and reorganize the existing language within Title 19 toward a more graphics-oriented document. This allows users to visualize the standards rather than having to interpret the text. The merging of Titles 18 and 19 will eliminate cross-referencing issues, contradictions and duplication of information. This update has resulted in a more user-friendly document that has been reformatted for Internet use. The end product is the direct result of working with customer feedback groups to establish a simplified development code to better serve the community.
