Residents are invited to bring their families out to attend one of the city’s four upcoming Safe Summer Nights events. The events will include music, children’s games, face painting and free hot dogs and water while supplies last.
City of Las Vegas staff will be joined by local non-profit representatives, neighbors and others to provide information about summer youth activities, health services, community safety, adult education opportunities and more at these events.
Safe Summer Nights events will be held at the following locations:
- Friday, May, 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the East Las Vegas Community Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave.
- Friday, May 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Kermit R. Booker Elementary School, located at 2277 N. Martin Luther King Blvd.
- Wednesday, June 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Stupak Community Center, located at 251 W. Boston Ave.
- Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Matt Kelly Elementary School, located at 1900 N. J St.
