Oldest School In Las Vegas
Located in the historic Westside, the “Las Vegas Grammar School Branch No. 1” was built in 1923. The building was the first grammar school in West Las Vegas and is the oldest remaining schoolhouse in Las Vegas.

Get Involved With The Historic Westside School
Open houses, like the one pictured to the left, and other events and activities, will provide past students and teachers with the opportunity to get involved with developments at the school.

The school was recently awarded with a plaque from the National Register of Historic Places, which is now displayed on the property.
