Starting Tuesday, Sept. 15, and continuing through Monday, Sept. 21, Evergreen Avenue will be closed to through traffic, between Decatur Boulevard and Brush Street. The temporary closure is necessary as a road resurfacing project is completed by the city of Las Vegas Department of Field Operations.

Access for nearby residents will be maintained. Access to the Arizona Charlie’s Hotel & Casino parking lot will be maintained by way of Decatur, as the two driveways on Evergreen will be closed.

During the closure, traffic on Evergreen will be detoured at Decatur and at Brush, over to Charleston Boulevard and Alta Drive.

These preventative maintenance efforts by the Department of Field Operations are being undertaken to repair the deteriorating pavement on Evergreen. This section of Evergreen should reopen to full access on Monday, Sept. 21.
