Las Vegas residents are invited to celebrate Hispanic heritage at the seventh annual “United Today and Always” event on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. at the East Las Vegas Community Senior Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave. Hispanic organizations will share their rich diverse cultures through music, poetry, dance, art, crafts and folklore.
Performances will be presented by COMUGUA, Folklore Argentino, Grupo Folklórico de Danza Mitad del Mundo, Grupo Voces, Fusión Salvadorian Folk Dance, Mariachi Juvenil Mi Tierra, Mexico Vivo Dance Company, Peruvian Cultural Arts and Folklore Association, Socorro Ulloa Studios, plus more.
The Hispanic Heritage Month event is presented by the city of Las Vegas with La Nueva 103.5 FM, Recuerdo 99.3 FM and Radio Variedades 870 AM. Call 229-1515 for more information.
