Oktoberfest Fun On Tap In Downtown Las Vegas On Oct. 17
Traditional Music, Dance, Food And Drink Will Transform Centennial Plaza

 

Downtown Las Vegas will tap one of Germany’s biggest and best events for fun. An Oktoberfest celebration will transform Centennial Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 4 to 10 p.m. at 401 S. Fourth St., next to the Historic Fifth Street School. Admission is free and open to the public.

The beautiful, outdoor Centennial Plaza will come alive with music by Herbie’s Autobahn and The Dummkopf’s, and German folk dancing by The Las Vegas Bavarians. In a biergarten atmosphere, traditional food and drink will be available for purchase including: German potato cakes, potato salad, sauerkraut, bratwurst, Polish sausage, apple strudel and beer.

The Oktoberfest celebration is presented by the city of Las Vegas and the Original German American Social Club of Nevada. For more information call (702) 229-3515.
