Residents are invited to enjoy the Ward 5 Harvest Festival on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lorenzi Park, 3333 W. Washington Ave. Join Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow for an afternoon of back-in-the-day fun including: sack races, face painting, a Hula-hoop contest, caramel apples, a balloon artist, cake walk and jump-house. A deejay and community youth groups will provide entertainment.
Local food, craft and community vendors will offer goods for sale. The Las Vegas Farmers’ Market will sell fresh regional produce and other goodies. Attendees are also invited to contribute to a food drive to benefit those who are less fortunate.
“This Harvest Festival is a great opportunity to get outdoors with family and neighbors to enjoy some fall fun,” said Councilman Barlow, who represents this area of Ward 5. “Coming together for the Harvest Festival is a great way to both celebrate our community and strengthen it.”
