General information about the incident:   The Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Bomb Squad responded to a casino on the Strip early Friday afternoon after someone reported a bag left unattended next to a slot machine. The bag appeared to have contained electronic parts and wiring inside. It was left in such a manner that the LVFR Bomb Squad Commander stated that employees made the right decision in having authorities check it out. During the investigation, the building was evacuated and a portion of the Strip was closed for approximately one hour. After an examination of the bag, it was determined to be harmless and not a threat.
