The city of Las Vegas will recognize the Blind Center of Nevada Bell Choir at the Wednesday, Dec. 16, City Council meeting, which will take place following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in City Hall council chambers, located at 400 Stewart Ave.
The choir will perform “America the Beautiful” during the ceremonial portion of the council agenda. The group plays music that many bell choirs would find challenging, and works to raise donations to further the work of the Nevada Blind Center.
In addition, the City Council will recognize the December Employee of the Month during the council meeting.
