The city of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency (RDA) are currently seeking proposals for a public-private partnership that will more efficiently and profitably operate city parking facilities and assets in the downtown area.
These Requests for Proposals (RFPs) invite parking consultants, investment firms and qualified independent advisors to identify and analyze opportunities that may exist for maximizing revenues, reducing expenses, operating more efficiently and retiring or restructuring debt, among other recommendations.
The city of Las Vegas and RDA together maintain almost $62 million in assets that include more than 1,700 metered parking spaces, seven parking garages and nine parking lots in the Las Vegas urban core.
RFP documents will be available at no charge beginning today. These documents are available at the city’s Purchasing and Contracts Division, which is located on the first floor of Las Vegas City Hall at 400 Stewart Ave.
All proposals must be received in the Office of the City Clerk by 1:30 p.m. PST on Feb. 19, 2010.
Additional information regarding this RFP may be obtained by visiting the city’s Web site at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/Business and selecting “Bid Opportunities.”
