City Of Las Vegas Darling Tennis Center Scores Public Park Of The Year Award From Racquet Sports Industry Magazine
Tennis Center Praised For Outstanding Service And Economic Development In The Community

 

The city of Las Vegas Amanda and Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center scored the Public Park of The Year Award from Racquet Sports Industry magazine in the publication’s January 2010 issue. In the magazine’s ninth annual Champions of Tennis Awards, the Amanda and Stacy Darling tennis center received praise for outstanding service, economic development and development of tennis in the community. The awards honor people and organizations dedicated to improving the sport and business of tennis.

The Amanda and Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center, the largest of its kind in the state of Nevada, consists of 23 lighted tennis courts including one main court with stadium seating for approximately 2,800 spectators. It also includes a small pro shop, locker rooms and office space. The tennis center is part of the Charlie Kellogg and Joe Zaher Sports Complex, a huge draw for large tennis and soccer tournaments, and a wonderful addition to the surrounding area.
