The city of Las Vegas Planning Commission has adopted a revised meeting schedule, reducing the number of meetings from twice a month to once a month beginning in March 2010.
The economic downturn has resulted in fewer cases for review and the scheduling change will result in some cost savings due to lesser demands on staff time. The city is reviewing code requirements to seek opportunities to allow for the most prompt processing of development applications while still ensuring adequate review by the public, appointed and elected officials.
