Flood Channel Maintenance Work Is Planned For West Charleston Boulevard During The Next Four Weekends
Expect Traffic Lane Restrictions Between Rampart Boulevard And Hualapai Way

City of Las Vegas Department of Field Operations crews have flood channel clearing and maintenance activities scheduled to take place on West Charleston Boulevard, for the next four weekends, during the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20, traffic lane restrictions will be in effect for westbound traffic on Charleston, between Rampart Boulevard and Hualapai Way.

During the three following weekends, the lane restrictions will be in effect for eastbound travel on Charleston, between Hualapai and Rampart.

This temporary traffic flow change is necessary as crews perform flood control channel maintenance activities in the area. Sahara Avenue and Alta Drive are suggested as alternate routes for through travel.

Motorists should proceed with caution through the work zones as large equipment will be entering and exiting the work areas. These locations will reopen to full access during non-work hours.
