General information about the incident: Fire dispatchers received numerous calls of an apartment fire.  Flames and smoke were showing when firefighters arrived on scene. The rest of the apartment building was evacuated while firefighters brought the fire under control. The fire was confined to the one unit. The occupant told fire investigators he had a candle in the bedroom and that is what started the fire. The fire was ruled accidental. The American Red Cross is assisting the occupants.
