Free Ward 6 Back-to-School Fair & Movie In The Park Aug. 3
City Of Las Vegas Councilman Steven D. Ross To Host “The Muppets” At Centennial Hills Park

 

Join Las Vegas Ward 6 Councilman Steven D. Ross for a free Friday night back-to-school fair and movie in the park from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre, located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive. Free school supplies and binders will be given out to the first 500 school-age children present. Several community partners also will be present to provide some school supplies, plus information about their services.

The PG-rated family movie, "The Muppets," will begin at dusk and is sponsored by Republic Services. Light refreshments and beverages will be distributed while supplies last. Food will be available for purchase from Pop's Philly Steak and Curbside Café. Bring your blankets or folding chairs to be more comfortable during the film. See the flier for more information.

"We'll be helping the kids get ready for school with some needed supplies, so bring everyone and make it family night in the park together," said Councilman Ross. "Don’t forget a blanket or some low folding chairs so you will be more comfortable for :The Muppets" movie!"
