Local business owners and operators can receive free information concerning trust and estate planning at a complimentary business seminar being co-sponsored by the city of Las Vegas on Sept. 5. This is the final presentation in a series of six business-related legal seminars sponsored by the city of Las Vegas and attorneys from the law firm of Lionel Sawyer & Collins, a local civil law firm founded in 1967.
The city of Las Vegas Economic and Urban Development Department is co-sponsoring the seminar at the Historic Fifth Street School, which is located at 401 S. Fourth St. in downtown Las Vegas. Check-in will begin at 7:45 a.m., with the seminar lasting approximately 90 minutes
Attorneys Matt Policastro and Greg Carlson will provide legal information on how business owners/operators can create a plan that will legally protect not only their company, but their family as well.
Lionel Sawyer & Collins Attorney Matt Policastro will emphasize estate planning and taxation. His background includes working at a major accounting firm specializing in tax-related issues.
Greg Carlson is an attorney with the Firm's Trusts & Estates practice group. He is also a licensed certified public accountant (in Florida) and holds a Master of Accountancy in Tax.
