The City Council will recognize Chinese New Year and local groups that helped to celebrate the holiday at the Wednesday, Feb. 20, City Council meeting at 9 a.m. in City Hall council chambers, located at 495 S. Main St.
Local community groups that participated in the Chinese New Year festivities will be recognized for bringing tourists to Las Vegas for the holiday. In addition, a group of local dancers will perform a lion dance in council chambers.
The City Council will also recognize the February Employee of the Month.
