New Sculpture Exhibit At Las Vegas City Hall Open Through Feb. 13
“Creativity Creates Community” Features Artists & Instructors From Downtown Pottery Studio

 

The public is invited to view a new sculpture exhibit, “Creativity Creates Community,” now on display at Las Vegas City Hall in the first-floor Grand Gallery, located at 495 S. Main St. Admission is free and available 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, excluding holidays, through Feb. 13, 2014. An artists’ reception is planned for Monday, Jan. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This sculptural exhibit highlights Clay Arts Vegas artists and teachers. Artists include Thomas Bumblauskas, Nicole Geary, John Gregg, Peter Jakubowski, Judith Kornett, Michelle Laxalt, K.D. Matheson, Lora Nava, Emily Nickel, Connie Norman, Joel Patton, Bobbye Sansing, Judi Sapero Tavill, Mark Rosenthal and Kari Woolsey. Clay Arts Vegas, a locally owned pottery studio, offers ceramics workshops at 1511 S. Main St. in the Arts District.
