The city of Las Vegas will be offering free classes on the new business licensing portal that is expected to launch soon. Classes are available to current city of Las Vegas business license holders and will cover how to access accounts, how to make payments, and how to apply for business licenses under the new system. Seats are limited so customers are encouraged to R.S.V.P. with preferred dates to license@LasVegasNevada.gov.
Classes will take place at the Development Services Center located at 333 N. Rancho Drive on the following dates:
• Tuesday, Feb. 4, 4-4:45 p.m. and 4:45-5:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Feb. 5, 4-4:45 p.m. and 4:45-5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 11, from 4-4:45 p.m. and 4:45-5:30 p.m.
The city is in the process of replacing its 40-plus-year-old system with a new business licensing system that will allow business to manage their accounts on-line.
Due to system upgrades, some online business license services will be unavailable through Jan. 27, including applying for a license, paying a license and checking the status of a license. We apologize for the inconvenience.
