Component Of The Life Cube Project To Have Temporary Home At Las Vegas City Hall
Residents Invited To Write Down Wishes To Be Placed In Cube, Which Will Ultimately Be Burned During Downtown Festival March 21

A 4 foot by 4 foot component of The Life Cube Project is currently installed in the City Hall lobby, located at 495 S. Main Street. Visitors are encouraged to write down their wishes, dreams, goals and aspirations on postcards and deposit them into the cube, which will burn in a spectacular fire ceremony on Friday, March 21.

Downtown Las Vegas provides the backdrop and the stage for the inaugural urban installation of The Life Cube Project. Located on the lot at Ninth and Fremont streets, the Cube is a walk-thru, interactive experience, with murals by local artists, write boards, a dramatic light show at night and music performances. The temporary installation opens on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and will burn during the March 21 ceremony.

The Life Cube Project has two missions - encouraging people to write down what they want to accomplish in their lives and connecting art with community, involving as many people as possible. By encouraging local artists to contribute to their vision to the Cube, this inspirational concept is an ever-evolving living piece of art.
