New Traffic Signal To Be Activated At Garces Avenue And Las Vegas Boulevard Intersection
New Signal Part Of Ongoing Downtown Bicycle And Pedestrian Improvements


The city of Las Vegas will activate a new traffic signal at Garces Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard after peak morning traffic has passed Wednesday, March 12.

The signal is part of an ongoing pedestrian and bicycle safety improvement project on Garces and First Street managed by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.

The new signal is designed to provide safer and more efficient passage for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit passengers as the downtown area continues to see new development.
