Teen Scene

Teen Scene is an after school program for sixth, seventh and eighth graders.  It offers an alternative to the "latchkey" child, who is usually left alone before and after school, by providing children with a safe and supervised environment and giving busy parents peace of mind.  Teen Scene follows the same philosophies and guidelines as Safekey, but is structured for older children. Activities in Teen Scene include:

• tournaments
• field trips
• game room activities
• homework assistance
• cooking
• special interest programs

Teen Scene is offered in the afternoon, from the end of the school day until 6 p.m.  For one teen attending Teen Scene five days a week the cost is $35, but special rates are offered.  For more information and a list of participating sites, please call (702) 229-6402.
