Park Ambassador

Park Ambassador
Park Ambassador is a volunteer program serving nine of the largest parks in Las Vegas:

Park ambassadors:

  • Make sure the park is safe
  • Promote upcoming city programs
  • Meet and greet the public who come to enjoy the park
  • Develop a bond with regular park visitors
  • Not only provide the city with a valuable service, but also save thousands of dollars a year (20 volunteers can save the city $49,219.20 annually)

The program has been highlighted as a “bright idea” in the American Park and Recreation Society’s Keeping You Current publication.  Several other cities around the country have inquired about our program.
