Citizens Leadership Academy

The Las Vegas Citizens Leadership Academy

The Las Vegas Citizens Leadership Academy (LVCLA) is designed to educate citizens who want to increase their knowledge about local government operations and have a desire to become more involved in the shaping and development of their community.

Participation in the Citizens Leadership Academy is an excellent opportunity to get an in-depth look at the roles and responsibilities of the city of Las Vegas municipal government. Through a series of interactive workshops and facility tours, 25 applicants see first hand how city services work to create livable communities. The academy's workshops also highlight programs and opportunities for residents to get involved with the city to develop creative and insightful solutions to some of the issues facing our community.

For information on future academies, please call (702) 229-6501.
