Senior of the Quarter

The Senior of the Quarter program honors senior Las Vegans who make a difference in our community.  The program was developed by the Senior Citizens Advisory Board to encourage seniors to make life better for others through volunteer work and to recognize these very special citizens.

To be eligible, candidates must:

  • Be at least 55 years old
  • Reside in the city of Las Vegas

An individual can be nominated by anyone, including a family member, friend or even self-nominated.  To nominate someone simply complete and return the nomination form.

Every three months, the board selects to receive this award a senior who has voluntarily contributed to the Las Vegas community.  The contribution may include efforts made in the individual’s:

  • Church
  • School
  • Senior Center
  • Or any Community Program
