Graffiti Abatement

In 2006, the city of Las Vegas spent more than $111,158 on paint and supplies and $571,609 in labor to clean up 63,060 occurrences of graffiti. Graffiti is a growing problem throughout the city and the city needs your help in reporting these crimes.
Here’s how you can help:

• If you come across a person tagging property, immediately call 9-1-1 so that a police officer can be dispatched to the area and hopefully catch the criminal in the act. 

• If you come across graffiti, but the tagger is no longer there, either call the city’s Graffiti Hotline at 229-6615 or request help online.

• If you would like to turn in the name of a person you believe to be involved in graffiti, call Crime Stoppers of Nevada at 385-5555. Calls are anonymous and tips leading to a successful arrest may result in rewards up to $500.
