Get Movin’ With Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman April 27
Everyone Is Invited To Second Annual Mayor’s Walk At Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex

The public is invited to join Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman as she leads the charge to improve residents' health at her second annual "Get Movin' with Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman" healthy lifestyle walk on Saturday, April 27, at 8 a.m. The walk will take place at the Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex, located at 7901 W. Washington Ave. at Cimarron Road. The event is free and registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Participants can start their day with an invigorating 1.71-mile walk and stay for a fun day in the park. Light healthy refreshments will be available for participants at no cost (while supplies last). Pets on a leash are welcome.

"I want Las Vegas to have the healthiest people in the world,” Mayor Goodman said. “The city offers many great opportunities for exercise and recreation, and I encourage residents to take advantage of the city's parks, trails and sports facilities to have fun while they exercise."

Las Vegas Residents Invited To Coffee With The Mayor May 14
Residents looking to meet and converse with Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman will have the opportunity at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Starbucks, located at 751 N. Rancho Drive.  This event will be held in Ward 5 and Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow is scheduled to attend. Coffee with the Mayor is an opportunity for residents who have issues to discuss, or would simply like to meet the mayor.

Mayor Goodman holds Coffee with the Mayor events every 6 - 8 weeks. The location changes so that residents across the city have an opportunity to participate. Dates, times and locations are posted on this Web page or can be obtained by calling the mayor's office at 229-6241.
