The Mayor’s Urban Design Awards (MUDA) are presented annually at the State of the City address. To qualify, projects must be located within city limits and achieve significant impact through enhancing public spaces, promoting pedestrian safety, conserving resources and preserving historic buildings and places. Nominations are open during the fall of each year for the following award categories:
- Buildings and Environment
- Public Places
- Public Art
- Historic Preservation and Adaptive Reuse
