Historic Vegas Business Recognition April 25, 2014
Councilman Bob Beers, along with Councilwoman Lois Tarkanian and Councilman Bob Coffin, recognized organizations that have been in business for more than 25 years at a special event at City Hall April 25. We hope to make this an annual event.

2014’s Trunk Or Treat Fun is speeding our way
The Ward 2 car show and Halloween festival for this year will be on Oct. 18 at Veterans Memorial Leisure Service Center where once again princesses, ghouls, superheroes and characters of all sorts will collect treats and stroll among the cars.

A Walker on the beautiful Hualapai Canyon Trailhead
The link between the multi-use Clark County-215 trail all the way from Alexander Road to Far Hills Drive and then down to Hualapai Canyon Trailhead is complete. Parking is available and this walker is already taking advantage of this beautiful walking trail and its amenities.

2014 Helldorado Parade Best in Creativity
The Big Bus Tour partnered with the Johnson Middle School Jazz Pak, under the leadership of Darren Motamedy, to lasso the Best in Creativity Award.  Kudos to Rich Goldstein with Big Bus Tours, Principal George Anas, Darren Motamedy and the talented students who form the Jazz Pak.

Flag Football Championships
Councilman Beers tosses the coin at the city’s flag football championship game.  This year the event was held at All American Park where all the participants were winners but the Giants were the PeeWee Division Champions, the 49ers Junior Division Champions and the Cimarron Rose Patriots Senior Division Champions.
