The Field Operations Department oversees the maintenance of public roadways, parks and buildings as well as the city’s vehicle fleet to ensure community safety.

Services & Information

Field Operations is responsible for:

the acquisition, maintenance and repair of the city fleet of vehicles and equipment.
maintenance of more than 150 city buildings.
maintenance and cleanliness of more than 40 parks.
general street and right of way maintenance on roughly 1,250 miles of roadway in Las Vegas including street sweeping, and storm drain, flood control and sanitary sewer system maintenance.
review and approve private maintenance requirements.
