Las Vegas Municipal Court To Be Closed Nov. 11 – 13
The front counters, phones, courtrooms and other public operations of the Las Vegas Municipal Court will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 – Friday, Nov. 13, in order to allow for the installation of a new case management computer system. However, court-ordered classes such as Domestic Violence, Petit Larceny, DUI, etc. will be held at their regular times. All city offices will be closed for Veterans Day on Nov. 11. Read more

The Las Vegas Municipal Court is a Court of Record with jurisdiction over traffic violations, criminal misdemeanor offenses, municipal code ordinance infractions and civil ordinance actions (not exceeding $2,500) that occur within Las Vegas city limits. Elected judges represent the six departments.
