Neighborhood Services promotes, develops, and supports safe, healthy neighborhoods through partnerships, education and compliance. Neighborhood Services establishes partnerships with residents, businesses, religious and civic organizations to accomplish common goals that strengthen the community.

Maintaining Clean, Safe Neighborhoods
A Neighborhood Response Hotline is available to report code enforcement issues or graffiti, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Within 48 hours a Code Enforcement Officer or the Rapid Response Team will be dispatched to investigate or address the issue. Report neighborhood problems online or call (702) 229-6615. 

Maintaining Clean, Safe Neighborhoods
Planners offer expertise and a network of community partners such as the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, businesses, non-profit organizations and other resources to spur positive results. Surveys, forums and other tools are used to determine what needs to be accomplished.  Get actively engaged in keeping your neighborhood vital. Organizing a neighborhood is free. Affordable Housing
Strategies for affordable housing focus on the use of federal and state funds leveraged to encourage the preservation or development of affordable housing.  Since 2002, the city helped fund more that 13,558 affordable housing units.  Last year alone, the city helped fund 1,087 affordable housing units.

Hard-To-Serve Populations
To address homelessness, Neighborhood Services participates in The Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition Committee on Homelessness. A ten-year plan to end homelessness has been adopted by the city of Las Vegas and by The Southern Nevada Regional Committee on Homelessness. Neighborhood Services fills gaps not addressed by regional services for prevention, intervention and triage.
