Please note that the 2009 International Residential Code was adopted by the city of Las Vegas on Feb. 15, 2012, and is currently in effect. 

Effective July 5, 2011, these are the standards for construction within the city of Las Vegas:

• 2009 International Residential Code (IRC)
• 2009 International Building Code (IBC)
• 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
• 2008 National Electrical Code (NEC)
• 2009 Southern Nevada Pool Code
• 1997 Uniform Administrative Code
• 2009 Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC)
• 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
• 2010 Amusement Ride Code

Effective May 1, 2007, through July 4, 2011, these were the standards for construction within the city of Las Vegas:

• 2006 International Building and International Residential Codes (IBC & IRC)
• 2006 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
• 2005 National Electrical Code (NEC)
• 2006 Southern Nevada Pool Code
• 2006 Uniform Administrative Code
• 2006 Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC)
• 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
