With winter coming, plan to stay healthy and active at city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services community centers, community schools and Municipal Pool with sports leagues and/or training, fitness and exercise classes, fun family events, after-school programs, educational workshops and leisure activities for all ages. Registration for the six-week Winter session will be open from Dec. 1 through Jan. 4 for classes to be held Jan. 7 through Feb. 16. Registration for the Spring I session will be held Feb. 9 through 29 for classes March 3 through April 12. Summer camp and aquatics registration opens March 10. Look for details on summer camps and swimming information in the Summer Leisure Guide, available in March.
Call any of the following leisure centers for information, registration numbers and a free Winter 2007-Spring 2008 Leisure Guide class and activity schedule, available approximately Dec. 1. The Leisure Guide will be available online in mid-November at http://www.lasvegasparksandrec.com/. Save travel time by registering with a credit card online at http://www.clvbeyondtheneon.com/, or by touchtone phone at (702) 229-5445, once you have Leisure Access and LeisureLink numbers. In addition, you will need the codes for camps, classes and activities for which you wish to register. Registration also will be available at all of the following locations. Hours vary by location.
