General information about the incident: There were multiple calls about the fire. The house is vacant and was unsecured.The electricity was not disconnected to the house so firefighters had to have Nevada Power shut the power off. Investigators believe the fire started in the attic then traveled onto the roof, when several passerbys called in the fire. The exact cause of the fire is undetermined. No injuries were reported.
