General information about the incident: There were multiple calls about the fire. No one was home at the time of the fire. The owner was notified that the burglar alarm had been activated and headed home. Neighbors and a Clark County building inspector saw smoke and found the garage heavily involved with fire. LVFR and North Las Vegas Fire Department units arrived to find heavy fire in the garage of the large home. They stopped the fire before it spread into the living area. Firefighters found an open door to the rear of the house on arrival. No injuries were reported. Assistance from the Red Cross was not needed by the family.
