General information about the incident: Call came in as a tree on fire, single engine dispatched. As the unit was heading to scene, a large column of smoke could be seen, full first alarm requested. On arrival, very large tree in front yard as well as the front of the house was on fire. House has been vacant for approximately a year, has wood siding over concrete block which added to the intensity of the fire. Fire ran up the wood siding into the attic and extended to roof. Living area of the house was saved from major damage. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Units responded: E16,8,27,4, T16, R8,16, CB8, AR1, B1, PIO1, 6i4, 6i7, 6i9
