General information about the incident:  Vacant building that was once a flower shop was on fire in the attic and roof when numerous people called 9-1-1 to report the fire. Heavy fire and smoke showing from the vacant, boarded up, secured building when firefighters arrived. No utilities connected to the building. Neighbors say someone has been working to renovate the building that was built in 1942, but has not been there for a while. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
