Decatur Boulevard And Alta Drive Intersection Traffic Restrictions Can Be Expected Next Week During The Overnight Hours
Traffic Signal Modifications Continue At This Busy Intersection

Starting Monday, Aug. 31, and continuing through Thursday, Sept. 3, traffic lane restrictions will be in effect at the Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive intersection during the approximate hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Decatur will narrow to two travel lanes in each direction. No traffic lane restrictions will be in effect on Alta but the lanes will be narrowed and drivers are encouraged to exercise caution as they proceed through the area.

The Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive intersection will return to full access by 6 each morning, and this phase of work will wrap up at 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4.

Work is taking place during the overnight hours so as to cause the least disruption to traffic on heavily traveled Decatur Boulevard. The traffic disruptions are necessary as city of Las Vegas Public Works Department traffic crews continue work to modify the traffic signal, as part of an ongoing project to bring the intersection to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
