|
The traffic signal at the Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive intersection will be placed on a temporary four-way flashing red operation on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at approximately 10:30 a.m. The signal will remain in this mode for approximately 30 minutes. During that time, motorists should treat the intersection as an all way stop and proceed with caution through the busy area. The temporary traffic disruptions are necessary as city of Las Vegas Public Works Department traffic crews continue work to upgrade the traffic signal, to bring the intersection to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. There should be no traffic lane restrictions on Decatur or Alta during this phase of work.
The traffic lights at the Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive intersection should be restored to full green-amber-red operation by 11 a.m.
