Free Seminars Teach Established Entrepreneurs New Business Tricks
Advance Registration Required

Whether you’ve been operating your own business for a few months or many years, there are always new tricks of the trade to be learned. Beginning this July, the city of Las Vegas Office of Business Development, in conjunction with the Adam Hodson CPA firm, is sponsoring a newly developed series of free seminars that will provide entrepreneurs with valuable business information. All presentations will be held at the Historic Fifth Street School in downtown Las Vegas, which is located at 401 S. Fourth St. The city and the Adam Hodson CPA firm recently completed a series of successful seminars for prospective business owners.

The seminar series will kick off at 9 a.m. on July 1, with a presentation covering “The Top Five Business Tax Mistakes and How to Avoid Them.” This presentation by Adam Hodson, a local CPA, will identify common tax mistakes made by business owners and how to avert them. Hodson will also provide tips on how owners can lower their taxes.

Other topics covered at future seminars will include finance, banking, information technology, asset protection, marketing, public relations, website optimization and payroll solutions.

The seminar series will run through November.

Space at all of these presentations is available on a first come, first served basis. While the cost to attend is complimentary, advance registration is required.
