Grants Available For Nonprofit Organizations
Interested Applicants Must Attend Mandatory Workshop Tuesday, Aug. 21

Local non-profits are invited to apply for two grant-funded programs online at www.lasvegasnevada.gov beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 4 p.m. In order to apply organizations must attend a mandatory application workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., in the first floor Human Resources Training Rooms at City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.

The Emergency Solutions Grant focuses on homeless prevention, street outreach, shelter operations and rapid rehousing. The Immediate Needs Assistance Program focuses on immediate and short-term rental assistance.

Applicants must be certified 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) non-profit organizations and properly licensed by the city of Las Vegas at the time of submission. The deadline for submitting completed applications is Monday, Sept. 10, at 4 p.m. For more information call Tammy Christensen at 229-6052.
