Ward 5 Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow And The National Coalition Of 100 Black Women To Hold Workshop On How To Open A Business
Workshop To Take Place At Las Vegas City Hall

The city of Las Vegas and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women will present a workshop on how to open your own business from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 23, at Las Vegas City Hall located at 495 S. Main Street.

The event will include information from the city’s Business Licensing Department, Economic and Urban Development Department, Nevada Secretary of State, and SCORE, nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground.

Ward 5 Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow will provide the welcome. Other sponsors include Wells Fargo Bank, Clark County and NCBW.

“This is a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs in our community,” Councilman Barlow said. “I hope everyone looking to start a new business takes advantage of the free knowledge that this workshop will provide.”
