Mobile Home Fire Under Investigation
No Injuries During Incident

Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters responded to the Bonanza Village Mobile Home Park, 3700 Stewart Ave. for a double-wide mobile home fire early Saturday morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire dispatchers received multiple calls at 1:12 a.m. that a mobile home was fully involved with fire and a car in front of the mobile home was also on fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, their first concern was to ensure the fire did not spread to the other homes in the park. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in ten minutes, preventing it from spreading.

The home was destroyed by the fire as well as one auto. Damage is estimated at $75,000.

A woman and her middle-aged son live in the home; neither were home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Las Vegas Fire Investigators.
