Decatur Boulevard Reduced To One Lane Southbound Between Washington And Bonanza
Closure Expected For Up To One Week Due To Damaged Telecommunications Line

An unforeseen construction issue has reduced Decatur Boulevard to one lane southbound between Washington and Bonanza. A telecommunications line has been damaged during work underway on Decatur. Emergency repairs are under way, and could take up to one week. Drivers are strongly encouraged to stay away from the area.

Crews have been working since February on new roadway improvements on Decatur Boulevard, between U.S. 95 and Lake Mead Boulevard. The current work consists of installation of traffic signal interconnect conduit, removal and reconstruction of deteriorated areas of pavement, median island modifications for improved traffic flow and safety, median island landscaping upgrades, full width structural pavement mill and overlay, and roadway striping.
