The city of Las Vegas may not be in a position to provide jobs to those in need, but it can provide you with tools to help you land that new job. That’s why Mayor Oscar B. Goodman and City Manager Elizabeth Fretwell hosted a special edition of “Town Hall” focusing on information for those in search of employment.

The show aired on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, from 5 to 6 p.m. on KCLV Channel 2. Mayor Goodman and the city manager were joined by a panel of experts who provided insider’s information. Panelists included:

Jeremy Aguero, Applied Analysis
Andy Katz, president of Manpower
Raj Tumber, counselor with SCORE
The panelists had information on a number of different topics including fields that are likely to be the first to start re-hiring and steps to take if you want to start your own business.
