Active Adult/Senior Activities

A variety of programs, classes, workshops, special events and services are offered to empower adults, age 50 and better, to contribute to their own physical and emotional health and well-being. 

Program Locations:

Park Ambassador Program: This program gives seniors the opportunity to be of service to the Las Vegas community. The Park Ambassadors greet park visitors, distribute information about the city’s recreational and cultural activities, and report any damaged equipment or maintenance problems. For more information on how you can volunteer, please call 229-4924.

PrimeTimers: For a detailed listing of classes and activities for active adults and seniors, download the PrimeTimers catalog - July-September 2008.

Future events and activities for residents 50 years and better can be found in the October - December Active Adult  publication.

The Senior Law Project, located at 310 S. 9th Street, 2nd floor, provides quality legal counsel and assistance to Clark County residents 60 years and older. There is no charge for services; however, donations are accepted. Clients are seen daily, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., by appointment only. Call 229-6596 to schedule an appointment.
